Would anybody be interested in an unofficial BT pasta dinner Saturday evening at one of the local restaurants?  If there are enough interested, I can try to get an early reservation (5:00?), so we can all still get to bed early.  If any of you live in the area, maybe you could make a restaurant suggestion?

jrsteve2 - 2010-07-02 9:37 AM Hello,
I'm traveling up to New York from Florida for the musselman and was wondering if an aero helmet would be beneficial with the two major climbs?
Thank you

Yes it will be.

TriMyBest-Did you get any takers on the pasta dinner?

Last year there was a pasta dinner included for triathletes the night before the HIM. That's not the case this year?

My husband (arrogant bastard <- his BT name, not what I call him...usually) is racing the HIM and we're planning on volunteering with marmadaddy and would love to meet more BT folks.

There is still a pasta dinner, check the website for details.  5 to 7 pm in the Scandling Center which I beleive is the same place as packet pick up.  Tickets are available at packet pick up, but not at the door.  Unfortunately I can't make it for dinner.

For Italian in Geneva this place is pretty good (Or it was last time I was there a couple of years ago) http://nonnastrattoria.com/

Ok.  Cool.  I didn't know about the dinner put on by the race.  Hopefully some of us can meet there.
Thanks!

WOW. I can't believe it is here already. We will be shoving off in the next couple of hours to head up for a weekend of triing. I am so excited to get going and redeem myself from last years HIM disaster. My wife and her sister are doing their first tri so the energy level around the house has been insane in a good way. Good luck to all.

YOu mean when I turn around to find you like last year, you will hand me my order as you should have time to pick it up in Geneva as you stroll through.
