Just got home from picking up my packet, I got stopped by someone saying I looked familiar, after a little talking turns out Fairview Sports and Orthopedic Care is still using my poster size cutout in their booth at the expo, I had totally missed it when I walked past.

Inside the packet there were three number badges, one for your helmet, one for shirt, and one that I'm not sure of.  Is the biggest one for your bike or is it for your bag?

Bike - Typically goes on the top tube hanging down or the seat tube facing backwards.

Good luck to everyone racing Lifetime tomorrow.  I'll be racing at a much smaller venue down in Elysion.  Wonder if we'll get a who's who list of pro triathletes at our race also?

Completed the race.Laughing It was my first triathlon ever and felt like I finsished strong. Here are my results:http://www.peaktiming.com/2010LTF/participantdetails.asp?BIB=3372 the bike was my best time for me. I pushed a little harder and beat my average time in training of 16mph. The run I struggled with a bit but felt like I was keeping a good pace. (need to improve running speed) the humidity and rising temps outside seemed to play a roll in my run time. The swim I will also need to improve on. I didn't really focus much on this in training so if I focus on it some more I'll do great next year. I AM HOOKED!!!!Wink

I heard a rumor that Julie Hull ran into a kid on the bike.  I see she finished.  Anyone know what happened (if anything)?

My parents were at the intersection she crashed.  Apparently they saw four different people crash.  I believe hers was the worst.  She flew over the handlebars and was down for maybe ten minutes.  I guess she eventually got up and biked away.

A friend said she was at gear west later that day with a broken wrist.  Hope she's all right.
