I wrote Andrew Messick, the president of WTC about a week or so ago.  Within the hour I received a personalized email back stating that we would look into the matter.  I followed up yesterday and he was in Europe but promised he had not forgotten.

I'd suggest sending it back with a note.  If anyone else wants to write Andrew Messick to express your opinion, his email is [email protected]

Will keep you updated.

Email sent.

I sent an email also!  Thanks TriRSquared for the info!

FINALLY finished my

Ironman Coeur d'Alene Race Day Video

Fantastic.  I love the shots of your family cheering you on.  How nice to have had such a large support crew with you for race day.

I haven't even received my crappy jacket yet. I'm not too upset about that part since by all accounts it's a total POS, but it'd be nice to get the refund ball rolling.

well i have a friend that has a super sewing machine for sewing the cda logo on the jackets.  however, despite how cheap the stickers look - they will not come off.  despite my efforts to heat them up to peel off or using adhesive remover.  The stickers are there to stay  uhghhh

Ha.  Yea, only about 5 IM pages have traffic.  The others get bumped by the same people.  My IMSG thread is DEAD.

I'm almost done with my 4 week reverse taper and I've lost a crap load of endurance.  Got owned yesterday by way too many people on my hill run.  The journey back to peak endurance starts next week.  Godspeed.

I agree with you Sarah! Now that the race is over it's like every time I go to my training log! Here's hoping next year's racers will take a note from us and some of the threads will get more active. It really does make a difference

Miss you all - hope your recovery is going well. I'm taking the HB show on the road as I started my world tour on Monday (9 countries, 3 continents, 4 provinces and 5 states in 8 weeks). I'll check back in on everyone's logs in late Sept!

So bummed.   After fully expecting my jacket to be waiting for me when I got home from vacation yesterday, it wasnt here.   Emailed them this morning and was told they were still processing 150 jacket orders and mine was one of them.   I decided to save someone some iron-on time in the warehouse and cancelled my order.   Time to hit up REI for a nice North Face softshell and kit up my local embroiderer.

Anybody know where I can get a high res version of the event logo?

Glad to see you all still posting on here. I'm still digesting my experience, too. I got my jacket in the mail and it seemed smaller than the one I tried on. Wasn't sure if it was just me. I'll probably keep it though. If anyone has any of the cda hats they sold I'd be Interested. Still waiting for them to post the rest of the merchandise. With my first ironman I'm a bit of a IM buyer.

Dang it.  DirecTV is not getting Universal Sports (finally!) until September.  Do you know if they replay them on their website?

I get it on FIOS and OTA HD via my antenna.  My question is how can I record this show in HD on my computer?  Better yet, do any of you have that ability?

If you come up with a cool design let us ride your coat tail.  I had to fly out Monday and missed the ability to sign up for a jacket.

Okay, per my hubby (the tech guy in the house), you need a tuner set up on your computer.  With either an HD antenna or hook it up to your cable.  Then you can set it up to record through MS Media Center.

You lost me at the word "tuner".   Someone on this thread has to record it for all of us....in HD of course.....then we can donate $5 to that person to mail out thumb drives with the file.  Eh?

If it's under an hour, I'll record and send it to all of you for FREE.  The only payment I request is good juju vibes sent to me in Arizona in November.  Crazy good deal, huh.  If the broadcast is over an hour, hubby will have to figure something else out.  We'll work on it.

I have it set to record on my DVR, and I think it's going to be one hour with commercials.  I'm really looking forward to watching it!

My jacket came in about a week ago.  I was so bummed that I didn't even open the box until this weekend.  Strangely enough, mine looks different than the picture posted here.  It just says IRONMAN in reflective silver on the back, and has the crappy logo on the right chest with the word FINISHER underneath.  M-dot in reflective silver embroidered on the left chest.  Very strange.  I'm guessing they are reacting to initial feedback about the jackets and changing the later orders to reflect that?  It's still a crappy sticker on the front though.

I would definitely take you up on that offer, but I will send you good juju vibes for Arizona regardless!!  I'm still a little in shock that you guys are doing another Ironman this year, that's just fantastic.   I just signed up online yesterday for 2012 Ironman Lake Placid!!
