Now we all know that there is no work that gets done on a Friday afternoon! ;-)

Almond butter....I've had it in a recipe for protein bars. It's a good alternative for those with a PB allergy.

Almond butter, almond butter

love Almond Butter.....straight from the jar.  And natural chunky peanut butter.  Store it upside down, no need to refridgerate, it doesn't last long enough!

Getting in a little late on this one, but I too am a love-slave to peanut butter. For me it has to be Peter Pan EXTRA crunchy. In point of fact, I had a couple of PBJ samiches today for lunch after my 40 mile bike ride that turned into a 51 mile bike ride because I took a wrong turn. This was after sharing some pistachios with my 2-year old. Ever heard a 2-year old try to say "pistachios"?

Remember folks, the fat in nuts is good for us, right?

Creamy is the way to go, but what else do you put with the peanut butter? That is the thing that really makes it great, because it goes with so much. Jelly, bacon, honey, bananas, and my favorite Nutella. Peanut butter and Nutella is like a big reeces pieces sandwich.

I'm a natural peanut butter fan.  Hubby and the kids prefer Jif crunchy, so we are well supplied with both.  I am, however, with Ovetta on the peanut butter and banana sandwiches.  Hubby and kids gross out at the thought.  I sometimes make one just to make them run away and give me peace!

I used to eat peanut butter and mayo sandwiches years ago, don't think I could stomach one today though. I am addicted to Nutter Butter peanut butter cookies...it's my Power Fuel for all occasions!

Last night I fell off the wagon. Creamy peanut butter and jelly with crunched fritos and honey. It was so truly evil.... Dank and punishing, I can still feel its sticky tendrils between my teeth and I swear I felt the weight gain from every bite.... I am afraid to go home, but eventually I will have to and I know what will happen: peanut butter. Jelly. Fritos. Honey. I'll fight it. Pretend I'm busy and have other things to do in a frantic attempt to put it out of my mind. The Jiff will be patiently smug, imaginary arms crossed in disdain, knowing that everytime I walk past the pantry I will be one step closer to the flush of pleasure and the sweet oblivion that is peanut butter, my nemisis.
