If money was no object (we can only dream) and you could buy ANY tri bike in the world, which one would it be?

Like the bear said, the bike I got. It fits and works great for me. I am still working on improving the engine to take full advantage of that one. The bike will never be the limiting factor for my bike split so why bother. Mine is a Cervelo also.

I purchased my no holds barred earlier this year.  When $$$ was no object, went with:

Guru Merus.  Custom Ti, SRAM Red, Ceramic BB and pulley wheels, Rotor Cranks, Aero Qrings, ZeroG brakes, Nokon Cabling...

The only thing I'd change are the brakes.  Ti is one sweet ride!

either this baby: http://www.storck-bicycle.de/mdb/img/bike_65.jpgjust because it looks awesome,

or,

I'd stick with the cervelo P3. it fits me amazingly well.

would keep the giant t-mobile bars, the rest of the bike would look like this:

Full dura ace groupset minus the crank.
Crank would be SRM wireless with 165mm crank arms
specialized toupe saddle
Zipp 900 disk rear, 808 front
corsa evo cx tubular tires.

Would you get the D-6 Pro (Matty Reed edition) or just go for one of the other versions? My brother was able to pick up a sweet D6 from a guy in Scottsdale for 1500 because the guy just bought the bike on sight. Had less than 100 miles on it and he loves the comfortable feel of the bike

Considering fit wasn't an issue either.

Probably the Shiv or the P4. Just cool looking bikes IMO.

The D6, P3, SC, and Plasma3 and Zipp 3001 are all up there though.

Stay away from the Shiv... I am typing up a review of it. Needless to say I am no longer riding it.

I assume it's got to do with the lack of adjustment options to the front?

It's a bit more $ than a mild mannered Used Car salesman can justify anyways
Would love to read the review, make sure to post it up when you are done!

I would ride a Walser Model 8 TT. Undeniably one of the fastest bikes in the world without anyone even knowing it. I can not count how many people have ridden this in the Tour with either "Specialized" ,"Giant","Cannondale" or any other mainstream brand painted down the side.

The fastest TdF TT ever recorded was on a Walser painted to look like a Bianchi. Funny that with all of the super bikes that have came out over the last couple of years that this record has not fallen.

No head tube cracked and they put too much paint under the nosecone. causing the paint to chip away in 2X2 inch flakes. Specialized refused to replace the frame since the frames are pretty scarce and offered me a pair or S-Works shoes and a helmet. I hired an attorney and got my money back.

Really what am I supposed to do with a cracked frame? I would not ride it that is just scary! Needless to say I will never ride that brand again.

Same, one of the new "nose cone" bikes or the P4.

Or maybe a Lotus.

Project one Speed Concept 9.9 with the custom flame paint job and a full di 2 group.  Not that I've fantasized much about it.

The only drawback I have found with Zero G brakes is that they do tend to move on you over time. Tightening up the nut and re-center them once in a while is all you need (I check the brakes each time I tune our bikes, which is usually about every month to 1.5 months, depending on miles and weather).

The only tri bike I would consider is the Look 596, since I absolutely love my Look 496 that I'm riding now.

Custom Ti frame with Di2, a powertap and Zipps.  And Cancellara to push the pedals for me.
