we just got pics of Abe taken. He just turned 4, and was quite fast when he was on the track. Now he just likes to sleep all day... but we're good with that.

This has got to be one of my favorite BT threads ever.  What great dogs!  I just got the urge to visit the shelter to adopt another one after seeing all these amazing personalities!  Dogs are the BEST.

These are our two shelter pups.

Maggie is what we call the super-mutt.  She's definitely part chow and part boxer...but probably has some other breeds as well.  75lbs of fur, slobber and love.



And this is Charlie - part basset hound and part golden retriever.  You should hear him howl at the coyotes!  It's so loud it makes the house rattle!

Here's our Winston.  He's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Poodle (Cavapoo) and about 9 months old.  Our son has allergies so we have to go with the 'designer' breeds.  We are picking up a Labradoodle tomorrow.  So excited, he's either gonna be black or chocolate.  Name suggestions are welcome!

I suck at uploading pics. Some beautiful dogs out there.

I just realized that Buddy and I have very similar haircuts.

He had also just spotted a squirrel.

Are her ears still floppy?  Look up Leonberger in google, the black mussle may point to a Leo.

Here's our new Labradoodle.  We decided to name him Mack.

^^^ So cute!!! I love the fuzzy shnoz. He also looks like he is about to fall asleep!

This is mine....we had to put her down this past Tuesday.  Cheyenne had made it 11 years and had severe stomach cancer.  She was my girl.

Here is a little bit of video my son and I took while we were out hiking the Appalachian Trail yesterday. The lab is 2, she'll be 3 in January. The Great Dane is 5 months. I wanted to get more video, I should have checked the batteries in the camera. I missed the cool stuff.
