Trapped Chilean miners - GREAT NEWS just heard!!

This is wonderful news indeed. All jokes aside I was praying for them and their families so I'm just really happy to hear this.

I've had the CNN live feed on all night. It's just great news they are finally getting out. One out and 32 more to go!!!!

It is great news.  I have to think that the families feel as though they are getting a 2nd chance with a loved one.  Hopefully they don't forget and live the rest of their lives accordingly.


As a side note, don't these people know you cook chili, not go mining for it.  DUH!

I was up late last night watching this... was in tears when that first miner came up, watching him run over to his Daddy... amazing.

So far, so good!
Just before I left for work this morning I saw on the news that they just brought out the 10th person!

Still sending out HUGE AMOUNTS of positive vibes for these fortunate persons.

#13 rescued. Amazing to watch they come up in that little tube!

The sound like a great group of guys.   I think that if I were one of the rescued.... I would convince the rescue effort to send the capsule down for the 33rd guy with a lock on the outside.    (of course, you'd send the key down through the "feeder bore" at the same time.)

How have they been able to stay alive down there?  What have they been eating and drinking?

Supply wholes were drilled some time ago that has allowed passage of both supplies and notes etc.

thanks, that's what I guessed.  If I have time, I'll check out the story...  I wonder if waste and room to move was an issue...

They had plenty of room, and even had heavy equipment they were using to move around debris while thye were waiting.

  I heard they were all going to celebrate at a local bar, but couldn't..cause...well....you know...they are all miners.

*snare* *crash*  Tough crowd.

Yeah, I knew it was bad when I siad it. I am think of adopting some of 'em though. Wonder if any have a good sea bass recipe...

Everyone involved in the rescue effort must be elated. They should be very proud of themselves.
