Every winter since I moved back to north country has been better than the last, and this has been the best of them all, mostly because I got outside and enjoyed the solitude, the quiet, and the cold more than ever before. Last weekend on a long run through the snowy woods, I had a slippery moment when I really wanted to be on some solid dirt again, with a canopy of leaves over my head. And then I remembered getting mosquitoes in the mouth, being dive bombed by horse flies, and swatting at bees with sweat pouring off my face. That's when I got this look on my face:  |

Blasted! Darren - I guarantee after this morning I won't be getting any points until Saturday. 70's in California and 60's in Denver. I must admit sitting alongside Pacific Coast Highway with my back against my car looking out over the pacific ocean in shorts and a t-shirt in 70 degree weather was just what I needed. The H*LL with CWWC points I want warmth!!! LOL I know, that is how I felt on Sunday. Shorts and a t shirt. Of course 7C isn't 70F but it is well appreciated. |

Well it looks like you are going to end Lenny's reign (2 years I believe). We have some stuff forecasted but I will believe it when I see it. Just waiting now for it to get below 32 so I can go for a run Didn't win last year. Someone always comes in at the end of the year to knock me out. Did get a couple points this morning with a mix of snow and rain. |

Just waiting now for it to get below 32 so I can go for a run Yep, I certainly luck out with the crappy weather that is for sure. Picked up an easy 1000 points last night on my long run in the middle of the night to avoid the snowstorm that never came (except for the snow during my run). But I love it. |
