Course: So this was a little embarrasing. It's been a year since I've been in the open water and it was like starting over. Got the old anxiety thing I used to get when I started doing tri's 3 years ago. Heart palpitations. Had to stop on aboard at one point because it felt like I might have a heart attack, but it finally subsided and I was able to pull it together but not without an embarrassing time! Swiming in the PAcific Ocean is MUCH HARDER that any of the east coast races I did by far, so I think I need to spend a ton of time in the ocean this year.
