No, but it is sure awesome afterward.

The stinky triathletes would gather at my beachside pad (called the Transition Area) for bacon, eggs, toast and coffee after morning workouts. Or afternoon. Anytime, really.

Took the kids to mother in-laws on wednesday so I could ride my bike. She fixed bacon and eggs for lunch. The whole time I was eating I'm thinking....I probably should not have another piece of that..... oops, too late!

Everything is better with Bacon! I even remember a Runners' World article about post-run snacks which included bacon-wrapped brownies. The protein/carb mixture allegedly is great for after a hard effort, but I say it proves that even brownies can be improved upon with bacon.

My brother is frying bacon for supper as I type this!

I'll be having a bacon sandwich and some scrambled eggs.  Wife decided BLTs sounded good tonight. I don't like tomatoes and I think we are out.  Don't know if we have lettuce even. Oh well, bacon and miracle whip on wheat toast will be just fine.

There was a Seattle Seahawk years ago who would eat a pound of bacon before every game. As the story is told it was always left on the sidelines somewhere.

How about the smell of bacon while you are out on a run? The smell has to fill up the whole neighborhood. That is about the most awesome smell / motivator there is to finish your run.

I live near Portland now...Voodoo doughnuts...bacon maple bar. Not quite the same as settling in for bacon and eggs and pancakes after a tough workout, but there is nothing like it!

I don't understand this bacon fascination thing.  The grease is nauseating and the nitrites are toxic.

Bacon improves anything it touches.  I am a homebrewer and my next "quest" is bacon flavored beer!  No kidding!!!!
