So I just got a notice yesterday that I essentially haven't been covered by insurance since the end of September. So I call the Insurance group and find out that my company never filled the paper work!!!! Ummm.... okaaaay.... I have some bills that need to be paid from the wify's bike wreck and PT! I AM NOT HAPPY!!!! They better make this right!!! Ugh! Yes, they absolutely should make this right - ASAP! Has your company offered a solution for you yet, or is it going to be one of the... you pay upfront and we'll reimburse you kind of things? Sorry that you're having to go through this  I literally just got off the phone with the Insurance about it and shot off a short, but turse email to HR. I have yet to hear back. This will be resolved by the end of the day or I'm paying a little visit to the HR Director and if that doesn't work then the HR VP. I hope it doesn't go that far and they do the right thing and get it fixed NOW for you. So it get's better. Our HR department did indeed send the paperwork. The Ins. company screwed up. I was on Cobra and when I was supposed to switch over, they just took me off Cobra but never put me back to full time. So they have been taking my money since August. They have no backdated my enrollment at the Ins Co and are taking care of re-submitting claims that we have had in the past 6 months. Ugh! What a pain! BUT, it sounds as if it is resolved! Good news. Would hate for teh missus to not have insurance. Tell her I said hi, by the way. Or I'll kick your teeth in! |

I will take the same strategy I took when I wrestled in high school... grapple with my opponents until we all fall down, and then I will likely be on my back counting the ... ummm... lights.... yeah lights... I imagine Kate and I would have our lights on by that point. Oh yes I would imagine the highbeams would be on by then. |

I have worked in automotive paint in a past life. Our shop was zero scrap. HOLLA! WTF how do you pull that off on Class A finish? I either HATE you or I need to pick your brain. I am way from the physical paint side of things. More of an operations person now. Doing Kaizens, Lean manufacturing, One Piece Flow, Load leveling, cost reductions, process improvements, value stream maps etc. YAY lunch time.... Oh and IT seems I have a package waiting for me at my post office Today. IT must me a Christmas present that arrived late. hmmmmmm i worked at a harley plant in college. and yes, we were zero scrap and at the time considered the standard for automotive paint finish. do you get to wear an awesome oompa loompa suit to work? yay cleanroom! i think that's what he has to wear, by definition, wherever he goes  ah, who'm I kidding, I am shorter than everybody here! only a scrap taller when eye donna is around! Yes but that just makes it easier to pick you up and carry you to bed when you are sleepy. |

(I had just gone to bed at 1 a.m.) She just wasn't sleeping for some reason. But her six-month checkup went well... she is all smiles most of the time. Pure joy...
HOLY CARP! How goes it Brother!?!?! Long time no see. Hey there! I just stopped in .... things are good. Family is doing well. Congregation is doing well. I am ramping up to start my HIM plan in a few weeks. how're you? I'm good. New job (back in June). Training picked back up just last week. It is cold and snowy out there. Glad to see you. |
