I just threw up a little. $50,000 is peanuts that is about 3% scrap a day. Automotive, Body Sides, Rockers, Front Grilles, garnishes, side sashes.. All your painted plastic components that go on vehicals. Some interior parts as well. But the bread and butter is in the painted and the chrome parts on the outside. IE the new Honda ODY Van we shoot the inner and outter Grill assembly, Buy the Chrome, Make the H-Marks for honda and sub contract the chroming process. Then it comes here and it is snapped, Screwed together and tape applied etc. We also make the side rail that goes long each side on the back just under the back side windows. We make the back Trunk skin for the Honda Accord so when you look directly at the back where you see the name accord that whole piece on the back as well as the Grill, Same with the Civic Soon the CRV (I am working on right now for 2012 model). Side stips that go down the side of your vehicals on the doors etc. Lower door moldings on the Buicks, Denali, GM truck Flares etc .. Mainly Honda, Toyota, GM, BMW and now working on Ford and Chyrsler for 2013 and building a new plant in Alabama right now, which I have to move equipment to in April. Once you add paint to something the COST goes WAY up and everything is CLASS A finish and well Honda has done a good job of writing their standards so it is SUBJECTIVE to the quality manager at the facility. IE we ship some stuff to alabama that is fine but the Ohio plant would NEVER accept in a million years and visa versa. Edited by Techdiver 2011-01-13 11:00 AM |

So I just got a notice yesterday that I essentially haven't been covered by insurance since the end of September. So I call the Insurance group and find out that my company never filled the paper work!!!! Ummm.... okaaaay.... I have some bills that need to be paid from the wify's bike wreck and PT! I AM NOT HAPPY!!!! They better make this right!!! Ugh! Yes, they absolutely should make this right - ASAP! Has your company offered a solution for you yet, or is it going to be one of the... you pay upfront and we'll reimburse you kind of things? Sorry that you're having to go through this I literally just got off the phone with the Insurance about it and shot off a short, but turse email to HR. I have yet to hear back. This will be resolved by the end of the day or I'm paying a little visit to the HR Director and if that doesn't work then the HR VP. I hope it doesn't go that far and they do the right thing and get it fixed NOW for you. So it get's better. Our HR department did indeed send the paperwork. The Ins. company screwed up. I was on Cobra and when I was supposed to switch over, they just took me off Cobra but never put me back to full time. So they have been taking my money since August. They have no backdated my enrollment at the Ins Co and are taking care of re-submitting claims that we have had in the past 6 months. Ugh! What a pain! BUT, it sounds as if it is resolved! |
