i miss my road bike...
(sucks seeing it just SITTING in the garage....)
ah well.

only... 4-5 more months until i can bring it out again.

I'll add my faves:

1. Wheels of Bloor (High Park Area)
2. Cyclepath Oakville (Speers & Third line)
3. Gears (Mississauga)
4. New World Cycle (Burlington)

My two cents - most of our local bike shops are overpriced.  Some of that is their own markup, a lot of it has to do with what the distributors charge them to buy the goods.

My suggestion is to wait till March and then go shopping.

Maybe not the same level of deals as the fall show, but you can still find some good deals on stuff that is now 1-2 years old and the shops haven't moved it.

i'll admit, i went to the fall bike show (looking for a road bike) & felt mildly overwhelmed.
the place was packed & the deals didn't seem to be much better than they were in stores at that time... (for complete bikes, anyway)

but i've definitely got the spring bike show on my calendar this year

I believe there is a Skiis and Bikes in Mississauga as well - Dundas, west of the 427.
