Apparently it's not TODAY ONLY - - I just signed up! Was going to do another race (17KM), but this should be cool. I suppose I need to go back and start doing some trail running again. North Mountain - -here I come.

Thanks T! i got the groupon but I think only one of us (JT or I) can race as the kids have sports that morning. JT ran a 12 mile trail race out there a few weeks ago and it was tough. NOt sure if it's the same course (Ford Canyon) or if they use the competitive track?

Hey Tim, I guess the little guy is keeping you busy Bet you could go months with no running and still tear it up. We are not doing IMS, I think I am going to do the Desert DU which is the same day- you should do it, it has to be better conditions than last year!

JT will prob do the Goodyear 5k on feb19th and we are both doing the Runner's Den double nickel next weekend. LMK if you want to tag along to that, we can pick u up.

I had some trouble registering for the race using the Groupon coupon. Don't know if anyone else did. There was no place on the ultrasignup website to enter a Groupon#. I've been talking with Jamil and this is part of his email.

We seem to have a communications issue with Groupon on how to redeem with ultrasignup and are trying to get to the bottom of the issue. You aren't the first person to have this problem.

I'm sure it'll all turn out in the end.

Went to "packet pick-up" today at Roadrunner. Shirt and race bib # - - that's all ! No bag to go through, no waste of papers crammed in there... very minimal. I like it

They are a really great race company! JT is racing the half so I will be out spectating. I'm tempted to do the 5 mile JT did the Xterra 12 mile race there in January, and it looks like most of the same course, he said it was tough!
Looking forward to seeing some BTers out there!
