where would you mount your cycling computer head unit?  That bottle system takes up your entire cockpit. Looks cool, but I like the original downtube version better.


I have a special apparatus I use for all races and training rides. Its called a 'wrist', and it holds my 310XT perfectly. On my road bike, I use the quick-release kit, but I don't have to worry about having a water bottle on my handlebars.


Unfortunately my Joule doesnt come as a wrist attatchment.


Check out Torhans and their accessories mount. Looks cool. And no less aero. And the straw is aero too.

why would people spend a pretty penny on a new bike if they going to attach all kind crap around the bike...

One bottle is all you need from sprint to HIM. For a full 1 aero on the seat tube with nutrition (heavy mix), and one betweek the aero bars.

People over complicate the stuff.

For those of you who feel one 750ml bottle is not enough, I present the Hyper-Hyration System.  For a few dollars extra you can get it with a 'Depends' brand adult diper.

When I ride north in 100 F temps the closest water stop is 58 miles (the only direction with any paved shoulder that is not 100 percent chipseal)  the other one is 75 miles to the closest rest area.  I use a Neverreach on the back (64 oz), 24 oz bottle on the down tube and a profile with a 16 oz front chamber (water) and 28 oz rear chamber for my Infinit.  To keep the proflie from rattling I took some pipe insulating foam and some ductape and there ya go no rattling and it is not going anywhere.  Also to avoid getting a shower from your aerobottle straws I put camelback bite valves on them.  It also keeps you from getting jabbed in the mouth when drinking on bumpy roads.  I can jump railroad track, cross cattleguards with 3 inch gaps and when I crashed at 20 mph I did not lose my waterbottles, although my shoulder and collarbone were a bit worse for wear. 

But ya for races you only need the proflie up front 16 oz water and 24 oz infanite, and maybe a 6-8 oz emergency water incase something happens at an aid station.
