Sue, I am feeling equally un-blessed with my family. I just told my dad about IMAZ and he said "you can't do that", blah blah blah.

But I do have 4 wonderful kids who think it's cool that I race, even if they have only seen me do it once (and then just crossing the finish line).

The best thing to do, Sue, is to keep going, because the point is to NOT be like them!!

These are the two loves of my life. They support me in everything I do, fix and carry my gear (and friends' gear too), and volunter at any race I go to. Matt has a great sense of humor and will do anything with me at the drop of a hat. Want to go skiing? He's your guy

I've done some pretty crazy things, and these two are always around for the ride.

While I have much more flattering pictures of us, his one makes me smile. My fiance, we are getting married Sept. 2 this year... and I hanging out at FRED'S in Sarasota - and she is grabbing my pec. Lovely. She kicks ass, does a couple tri's, looks better than any girls her age, and puts up with my perpetual 14 year old humor. I am SOOOOO fortunate, and not nearly attractive or thoughtful enough to warrant a hottie like her.

Here's my much much better half. She's very understanding and indulges me in my silly and not-so-silly larks.

OK so the pic I wanted to post wouldn't go but these will do. Sort of fitting considering there's little in the world she loves more than CAKE!

Now I figured out how to post that pic. Yes, she's gorgeous. Yes, you may stare. No, you may not have her.
