I had to go see if these were for real. I am now so truly creeped out that I have to go do actual work to clear my head...that anybody would actually purchase such a thing is either the most wonderfully surreal thing I've heard in a long time, or a horrifying example of how utterly out of touch I am with my fellow humans.

I could totally see my husband's grandparents purchasing something like this.  I get some sort of christian-themed "figurine" for Christmas every year (and no, they are not displayed ANYWHERE in my house)!! 

How come Jesus is always portrayed hanging out with modern-day children in ratty old robes?  Don't you think he'd be willing to put on a pair of shorts to play basketball?

Anyhow, these are hilarious.  Disturbing, but funny

conan o'brien did a segment on these figurines a couple years ago and when i saw it, i fell off the couch laughing.  soooo hilarious.  these figures are really creepy.  "jesus taunts small children by not letting them have the ball".
