Multi Race
Sunny
Total Time = 1h 15m 41s
Overall Rank = 67/261
Age Group = 50-54
Age Group Rank = 2/5
Pre-race routine:

Get race stuff. Stand in line at bathroom since there was only one stall. Of course when I was next they announced that the main bathroom was open!
Get organized at transition area. When I put my bike on the rack some woman came over and said that was her spot. I asked if she needed the whole 1/2 of the rack since there were no other bikes there. Another guy had enough room to pitch a tent. So much for courtesy.
Event warmup:

Very little time to stretch and warm up due to bathroom fiasco.

Good run overall considering how little I have run in the past few months. Last mile was strong.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Post race
Warm down:

Walk around, drink water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Training.

Event comments:

Bathrooms should have been open earlier. Better post race food, drinks.

Hey, for not running much, you got 2nd out of your AG!  That's good in my book...I ran without shoes for the first time, and now I think I need to throw out my shoes.

Having a strong last mile after swimming and biking and all your intelligent rehab must have been a great feeling!  Congratulations!  Excellent finish!  Spot on the podium to boot.
