Swim
Comments: This is first swim in a wet suit (second time in it). I actually went to friends house the night before and tried it on in his pool. What would you do differently?: Need to get more comfortable with people crawling up my back and grabbing my feet! Longest OWS to date. Transition 1
Comments: So....the guy 2 bike down from me has a flat before he even leaves the rack. Then he says he didnt even bring a spare? So Since I had 2 I asked if the size was the same and unbanned one of mine from the rear and gave it to him and wished him luck. BTW - I saw the guy after the race and he kept talking about the issues he having with these special tiers and he was just going to throw the rest of them away when he got home. He never did offer to replace or pay me for the one a gave him. I know its only a few bucks but the gesture would have been nice. Bike
Comments: I definitly am improving in this area. I will say that I went from a alum rodie to a Cervelo P2 and compared to previous time I definitly improved by at least 4 mph. Last year 1 lap (sprint race) was 40min this year I did the oly race (2 lap) and had back to back 35 min laps! A little traing and new wheels! What would you do differently?: Need to get nutrition plan worked out. Transition 2
Comments: Over all not bad - little slow but was trying to cool off and get some additional water in. What would you do differently?: Have a small bottle of water that I could take with me for the first half mile and trow away. Run
Comments: Wow - When I first started the run I was eyeing the group in front of me and thought he is my best discipline - lets go get em. First mile 7:45 - not bad not good - then someone turned the oven on. I am not sure but all of a sudden I was drained and eventhough they had 6 places to get water and I walked the last 2. I was done. Still managed low 8 but should have been low 7's. Post race

Meet up with some fellow BTers and did the normal bike check and equipment check. I was by my self as Jenny was in Chicago for the 2 day breast cancer walk and Skylar was with the inlaws. Was a little more hetic b/c of that but an extra trip or two to the car didn't hurt. Had a GU and some gatorade 15 mins before the start.
Took a quick spin on the bike and went to get wetsuit on.
