Subject: Sunburn blister help I've googled this issue but all I can find are sites that say "Don't ever pop sunburn blisters!" and unfortunately, that is not an option as explained below. I got a pretty nasty sunburn on both shoulders last weekend, and it has been extremely painful all week. I have been putting aloe vera on it twice a day, and the pain has been subsiding a bit each day. This afternoon, for the first time, a ton of very small blisters appeared on both shoulders. These pop instantly if they are even lightly touched (they basically just rub off, like a normal sunburn peeling ). Do I need to continue putting aloe or some type of medication on these, or should I just leave them alone? I just don't want to see an infection as the result of this, and it is the first time I've ever had a sunburn that actually blistered. |
