1:03 recovery swim. Ocean. I did lots of head-up breaststroke. It was fun.

Good morning!

5am:  1:48/31.50 miles on the bike
7am:  35 minute run

Heading to the pool later with my girls...if I'm feeling really motivated I might just get in 1,000m swim!

Have a great day!

I'm seriously considering doing nothing today but I know that won't happen because it never does.  So I'll probably go for a short easy run after work.

6 mile run this morning.  At 6 A.M. it was about 82 degrees, 55% humidity.  Glad I got that over with.  Supposed to be 103 this afternoon.

6 mile run this morning. Battling a little bout of lower GI something-or-other, put in a pretty good pace the last mile and 1/2, not 'cause I wanted to...more out of necessity....

AM: 2,000 yds pool, decent effort, but not hard (yesterday was power)

PM: Ride near 3 hrs on the trainer.  Mostly moderate effort (tempos yesterday), but some quick or heavy sections mixed in.  Brick run, ~ 4miles with a number of short, but steep hills.

My recovery/rest days are very similar to this, just a quick hop in a pond to splash around a bit, maybe a bit of stretching or upper body weight lifting. Been thinking of trying yoga...

I ran the long loop around the casino, only 1.3 but the other is 1.07, with 10 stair repeats on the outdoor concert bleachers in 15:54, gave me a nice 10 min/mi pace and felt great. I counted cadence like we did when I was in the Army and managed to run much faster without feeling as tired.
