Subject: Google Chrome and Garmin Communicator Issues
I keep having the same message pop up when I try to upload my workouts, "Garmin Communicator has crashed."  This only happens when I use Google Chrome.  If I use Explorer, everything works fine.  Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem as well?

They are not compatible... I have to use IE or Mozilla to sync with Garmin... Wink

I use Google Chrome with Garmin Communicator just fine. However, I am using version 14.something BETA. Search "chrome beta" and should take you to the link for it. Not sure if that'll fix the problem though, I don't upload to this site, I use another.

I use the normal public Chrome and it usually works fine. There was a stretch where BT would fail after transfer, but lately it's been good.

I did have a corrupt/bad activity that was causing grief, but I just moved all my events into an archive and the unit syncs in seconds again.

Good to know about FF5, I'll try again tomorrow. Honestly I hadn't tried for a while...You have the developer build of Chrome? You are living on the bleeding edge Surprised

I have had issues with both Chrome and FF but they seem to work ok, just the occasional bug every now and again.

I can't get any browser to upload my workouts since last week. I have tried uninstalling, installing on different computer, calling Garmin, etc. Anybody else running into new problems recently?

I had a problem uploading my Garmin 310XT workout yesterday using my standard set up of FireFox 4 and Garmin Communicator (not sure of the version). Maybe there is something wrong...

I use Chrome exclusively and have never had a problem uploading my Garmin to any website.

Do you have excessive lap data in your device? That's usually my problem. When I delete the old data it uploads quickly.

Sometimes I also need to reinstall the software on the device.
