Subject: Recommendation for Sports Medicine

As some of you may have seen in the triathlon talk forum, I've been struggling with what I believe is ITBS. The general consensus there seemed to be to see a doc.

So - anyone know a good sports medicine place?

I went to Capitol Orthopedics & Rehabilitation (www.cordocs.com) last Fall for my shoulder issue. I saw Dr Marc Grossman at their Rockville loacation, but they also have a location in Damascus.

This was the third time I needed PT in my 5 years of triathlon, and I liked them the best.

I used Dr. Scott Silverstein at Orthopedics of Central Maryland.  They have offices in Columbia next to HoCo General and in Violetville next to St. Agnes.  He did my knee scope last month and the PT folks have been great.  The facility in HoCo is MUCH nicer but I'm much closer to the Benson Ave. one, so I go there.  Good luck!
