Subject: Ironman Wisconsin???

Has anyone here ever done IM Wisconsin?  I'm wondering what the hills are like.  the run is pretty hilly too right?  Can the hills be compared to any races in Ontario - like say the peteborough half? I hope it isn't as tough as muskoka???

Thanks in advance   hopefully someone on here has done it.

Don't want to scare you but from what I know of it (not having done it) from those who have, it is REALLY TOUGH.   Much more so than Muskoka.   Check out ssminnow's blog.   She did it last year and had a really detailed race report.

I'm thinking about it for next year. I will check out ssminnows blog.  trying to chose between IMWI, IMFL (would be 2nd time there) and Rev3 at cedar point.

I have not ridden the IM Wisconsin course, but from a pure climbing standpoint it should not be as hard as Muskoka.  It has approximately an extra 1,300 feet of elevation but that's over twice the distance.  Remember that Muskoka is ranked as one of the toughest 70.3's out there.
