Ok so are we not doing a roll call for Augusta this weekend?  Is it because there is an official Augusta Thread somewhere?  Well I am in and planning on riding my new bike so watch out!  Of course my awesome-ness on the bike will be undone by my gimpy run but fun anyways....Looks like its gonna be hot again!  Who else is in?

I am in for my final race of 2011. I know a bunch of the regulars on here that are also doing the race, hopefully they will all chime in. Lets hope for nice weather and a safe race!

Bib#2582. First HIM for me. 50% excited, 50% nervous. Those figures are subject to revision at any time.

I've got to stop obsessively checking the weather forecast. I'm starting late, it's going to be warm - get over it! I trained in this stuff all summer. Just get out there and do it!

cindi - 2011-09-21 Those figures are subject to revision at any time.

I love that!

Good luck, Cindi! (and everyone else too!)

You can't beat the swim, the bike isn't bad at all, and the run certainly could be much worse.

It was my one and only HIM and I loved it.  The entire day.  The swim, the bike, the run even.  Great crowd support.

You have trained your butt off this summer - you're gonna do great - enjoy your day!

I'm driving over from Huntsville. It'll be my first half, pretty excited. #348.

Anyone know if it's kosher to swim in the river saturday morning? I'd like to get some last minute practice in.

Check the offical race forum page over in the Iron Distance group. That has some info in it about swimming in the river in the days before the race. I think the jist was that it's OK and other people will be out there too.

I will be swimming out there sat am for about 20 min...Just to work out kinks in new wetsuit etc.  I usually start from the finish of the swim and swim up river against the current so that I can think about how greatful i am the swim is DOWN RIVER...lol

PS for those of us with the later swim starts and will be running in the 90 degree plus heat....water water water...all day today, tonight and tomorrow....hydration now means you will have a better run sunday....
