Okay peeps, here we go. October hits in a few hours, so make them goals and get em posted. Let's make this month count. The holidays will be here before we know it and it will only get harder to shed those lbs.

Yes! I'm feeling positive about this month. Let's do this, guys.

Going for a 2 pounds per week goal. Lots of running and swimming on tap for October.

Awesome! I haven't been in the 130's in forever, so I know how you're feeling. BT's been great getting me out and moving to get my weight back under control.

I'll throw my hat in the ring ...

Down from 208#, I'm presently at 194#.

For me, it's more than weight. My Training Peaks software indicates that my Power/Weight is a weak 1.8 watts/kg, down from a 3.2 watts/kg back in January 2008. I did SavageMan AquaVelo two weeks ago and simply am carrying too much mass up and down hills. Hence, my goal isn't just weight loss, but it's getting back to and exceeding 3.2 w/kg before my HIM in June 2012.

166# is a long way off, but that's where I need to be if I want to be 3.2 w/kg and if I can get my strength back in my legs to a normalized value over 240 watts. We'll see.

My goal for October is to drop as much as possible, at least 1.5#/week, through the end of the month and race the MCM 10K at no more than 188#.

Going to jump in as well, although with a serious achilles injury it is swim only for me

Original start weight approx 6 months ago 290lbs !!!!!

Now 234 !

October target 224!!!

Lowest I have been in the last 6 months 225lbs

OK, back on it.  Thursdays are my official weigh day.  My October goal was simply to be below 225, but since I am at 227 and change now, I am restating the goal to get to 220.

Can I join?  I don't know my Oct 1 weight exactly as I was traveling, but my last weigh in was last Tuesday at 147.3, so I'll use that.  October goal weight will be 142.  I weigh in on Thursdays.

I started this journey at 175, dropped 25 lbs my first year of tri and have hung out just above 150 for the past year.   I only started dropping again a few weeks back when I went Paleo with my eating, so here's to continuing the downward trend!

I have not been working out as consistently as I was earlier this year. My tendonitis in my foot has slowed my running goals. Frown I wanted to run a 10k or longer by the end of this month. I have had to back off the running and ride my bike more. It is has been colder and the days are getting shorter. I wish I had somewhere to swim at over the winter. (sorry for the complaining, I can do it but I am frustrated because I have stalled at 190.) I got close to my goal of 185# last month with a 187# but I was not able to stay that low. I am hoping to be more consistent working out and I will have to watch what I eat more carefully.

Although my birthday is this month so that will be a fat day!

I went out for brunch over the weekend for a family birthday celebration. And ate way. too. much.

Anyway, I'll be lucky if I break even this week. How is that possible? I know I didn't physically eat 2.5 pounds of food, so why does the scale say that? Evil scale, you are not my friend. Instead I will wear my seriously stretched out khaki pants that make me feel thin.
