It was "too warm" this morning but my commute consisted of 25mph winds and rain - what a lovely combination.  My lake boots got broke out and cleaned up for the winter though!

Would rather have the cold instead of the rain and wind.

I am not going to join you guys officially this year because I hate to go into something knowing I will lose   However, I will be with you in spirit as I strap on the ski helmet and balaclava.  I am really looking forward to getting out on the snow bike.

My favorite part is the crunching snow sound, on both the bike and underfoot.  That's the best.

Come on Emily - put your name on the spreadsheet and track your points - we are all winners if we fight the man and skip dreadmill/drainer rides and enjoy the beauty of winter outside.  Plus when I come to MN you will earn a lot of points riding along side me

Whew! Just "Cold Shots" for most of my home state. That sounds about right. 10 degrees, dry, and windy. Must be winter in Central Kansas.

Then in April, we'll get 18 inches of snow, usually over spring break. :-/

Maryland doesn't often get cold and snowy, but we do have plenty of ice, which I personally feel ups the suckitude factor.  So I doubt I'll win, but I LOVE the cold, snow and crappy weather!  Anything is better than feeling like you're breathing through a hot, wet towel.

I'm ready, I had low 30's rain and a 40 mph wind this morning on my bike ride. Of course next week it will be in the 50's sunny and calm here like last year, but I'm ready.
