Ok ya'll- as I near my 1,000 post, Tricomet has inspired me to use this time to look back and reflect on my BT history and the great miles I have gone to get to the point.

I would first like to thank run4yrlif for taking me under his wings and turning me into the exceptional triathlete I was born to be.  If it weren't for him, I would not be in the position I am today and recognize my hidden triathelte talents.   I would also not be a member of this website, wouldn't be doing tri's, and most importantly, I wouldn't be able to offer my professional advice on this website.  BT without runnergirl28- what a lonely thought.

I would like to thank for company for allowing me to use company property (my work computer) to log all my training, surf the threads, and create intellectual threads that lead to mentally stimulating conversations that changes the lives of thousands.

I would like to thank my boss for not turning me into upper management for misuse of company time.

I would also like to personally thank TriComet for encouraging me to speak up and express my opinions on topics such as hot tri guys, burritos, hot tri guys, cahffing, hot tri guys, etc. She has been extremely influential in my journey as a BT'er and I strive everyday to be as loyal to BT as she is.

As I near my 1, 000 post and gain a completely different BT status I would like you all to know that I won't be snobby towards the new users, veterans, extrem veteran, and anyone who is ranked below me.  Although I will feel more knowledgeable and full of wisdom, I will not let those feelings get in the way of snubbing anyone.  I will continue to humor you all in any threads I feel the urge to respond to, regardles sof the user status of the person creating the thread.

I would like ya'll to take a few minutes sit and back and re-live the life of runnergirl28 being part of the BT family.  I am urging ya'll to please respond ( positive comments of course,) on how I have contributed to your tri life, the best advice I have offered anyone, or how I've changed your views, perspective, etc. And of course- any poem, ode would be greatly accepted!

First, I have a question, are you going to change your handle to runnergirl29 on the 29th?

Next, the best piece of advice you've ever given me was "SWIM".

Third, I'm gonna have to ask Ron to include the "Date Registered" as part of the ranking, because I'm getting smoked having a lowly Posts Per Day that is barely over 1 but I've been around almost a year. But I am relieved that you won't be looking down on us lowly peons.

Here's to another 1000.

There once was a girl named Janelle

Who used butt icing so her shorts wouldn't smell

She wasted the day away

Using company time to play

And made all of our lives living hell......

(Sorry this was the best I could do!)

I love creating these...

There once was a girl named Janelle
Who works hard and plays hard as well
On BT she posts
Way more than most
But it's ok because her advice is quite swell.

Or...

1000 posts, thats quite a feat
Janelle fancies that as pretty neat
But lurking out there
is another named bear
And in BT posts, boy he's got her beat.

What is sad is the fact that Comet and I started coming to BT about the same time.....she has 1600+ posts to my 248...........

Brett- I think the only reason Comet and myself are more successful with posts than you  is because we tie up these threads talking about burritos and drooling over hot tri guys.  Since you are married, you don't have the honors that us single BT'er ladies do

Brett - 2005-09-22 1:55 PM First, I have a question, are you going to change your handle to runnergirl29 on the 29th?

I apologize for the tardiness of responding to your question.  I have been really tied up in lenthgy interviews due to my new star status.  I had to cut Oprah short on the phone to answer your question.  But to answer your question, I would like to change my username to runnergirl29 on the 19th, however, I will loose my red start status and that I do not wish for.  Why throw away something I have worked so dilignetly and hard for?   I need to check with Ron and see if that's true, but that's what I've been told.

I'm just flattered that I get to say I "knew you when" you were a lowly purple star haver. I'll try and schedule all other questions/interviews through your PR folks.
