Comments:

VERY PRETTY RUN. WAS WET AND COLD THROUGOUT THE ENTIRE RACE. IMPROVED MY PB BY 16 MINUTES. WAS DISSAPOINTED THAT AT MILE 18 AND ON ALL THE WATER STATIONS WERE BROKEN DOWN. THEY DID PUT CUPS OF WATER AND GATORADE ON THE GROUND SO THAT THE RAIN AND PEBBLES GOT INTO THE CUPS. I SURE COULD HAVE USED A GEL OR ONE OF THE ORANGES THAT WERE HANDED OUT AT MILE 22 TO HELP GET ME THROUGH THE LAST MILES.
What would you do differently?:

RUN FASTER.
Post race
Warm down:

GOT IN THE CAR AND CRANKED THE HEAT.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

MY WEIGHT

Event comments:

IF YOU ARE NOT A REAL SLOW RUNNER AS MY SELF THIS IS AN EXCELLENT RACE. THEY HAD ENOUGH WATER STOPS AND EXCELLENT SUPPORT FOR THE ONES THAT FINISHED SUB 6 HOURS. I WAS DISSAPOINTED THAT THEY DID BREAK THE WATER STATION DOWN SO EARLY.

Yes, congrats on the new personal best. It just sucks big time, when races break down early. As a consistent BOP, I'm often faced with that. Very frustrating! But you should be very proud of your accomplishment.

Hope you are holding up well today!

Nice work buddy, a PB in those conditions.
Well done.

Insanely jealous of the route. I think it would be absolutely beautiful to run that course.
The Falls took my breath away when I visited there, and I hadn't been running.

Thanks everyone. I am bound and determined to get that time down to a respectable limit. I am going to get more strict with my diet and training.
