Comments: This is a great race and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Atlanta or North Georgia area. Well supported, well organized, and they had really cool T-shirts. What would you do differently?: Start off slower and try to negative split the second half. No reason to run sub 7 minute miles at the beginning. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and cooled off, ate a bagel and some fruit from the well stocked finish line area. Saw Steamy again and chatted with her for a few minutes while I waited on Amanda to finish. All in all a good way to end the season and get the bad taste of last weekend out of my mouth. What limited your ability to perform faster: Cold, hamstring on my right leg started getting really sore toward the end. Event comments: Again I highly recommend this race to people around here. I also would do any other events put on by this company. The only negative I have is I wish that it had been a chip timed event, but that is a minor thing Last updated: 2005-10-30 12:00 AM

Got to the race site WAY to early...still shell shocked from the debacle last week. I went and picked up Amanda and drove to the site, didn't eat anything as I run better on an empty stomach. Ran into Steamy on the way to the porta potty and talked with her briefly about the race. Went back to the car and tried to stay warm for awhile.
Got out of the nice warm car and shook out the hams and calves, did a little stretching to warm up also.
