Arrrghhhh ... got Cub Scout duty tonight!  Forgot that we have to distribute popcorn (don't ask unless your buying some of the excess that was purchased!).

Let me know what was decided, when the GTS was decided and whether TriComet got her water bottles ...

Ohh, boy scout popcorn is good...No I don't want some. Stay away from the caramel popcorn...stay away.

I'm sure Brett will put you on teh email list for rides and workouts and such. And he forgot my water bottles.

I might be up for a ride.  I need to see if I can get  a kitchen pass or not.  What pace equates to "easy"? 

How many takers do you have so far?

Steph good luck on your 10k, I am sure that you will do fine!

Easy = 16-17 mph (an estimate) basically just a casual ride to enjoy being outside and fellowship with other athletes. I don't think any of us are racing anytime soon, so there is no reason to go out and hammer for 2 hours.

So far we have two takers and one maybe, I will probably ride regardless of if anyone shows or not.

I am planning on being there.  With the new baby though my plans are subject to change on a moments notice.  I plan to start from Hiram trailhead and ride back to Mavell Rd.  Then I'll just fall off when I've had enough or on the return trip.

I will be riding a flat black Cannondale R1000.  I will probably have on a high vis yellow/ green jacket also.

Any vehicle or something I should look for?

Update for those of you not on the email list....sometime in the second week of January we are going to have another meeting (this time in a quieter place!) and see if we can hammer out some of the details and get this club off the ground. Hope that you all have a great Holiday Season and feel free as always to email me with any suggestions or comments.

Aaargh x 2 = going to be skiing the second week in January ... but am interested in joining y'all for a couple GTS's.  PM me for my e-mail address to include on the list.

North Atlanta Tri Club January Meeting

Thursday, January 12th 7-9pm

Roswell Park, Woodstock Rd. (PM me if you need directions)

Come prepared to elect a Board of Directors and discuss the future of the club.

Please let me know if you will attend so I can get an accurate head count.

As an added bonus we will also have 3 guests attending the January meeting, Dr. Elizabeth Baker of Integra Chiropractic and Sports Medicine (she is a former competative triathlete and mountain biker), Matt Russ Head Coach at Speedfactory, and Kevin Poske of Outspokin Bikes in Woodstock (Kona finisher, Top AG at IMFL).

Dang-it!  I'd love to attend (as I've missed everything else!) but won't be able to make this one either.  Too much work and school...

Once I get done with dedicated Tybee Island Marathon training, I'll be much more flexible!
