Post your smack talkin' butt kickin' comments here as we run all over the other slackers!

I've got fishinrich with 30 miles and karris with 40 miles so far, as well as me for 80. Anyone else please post or IM me and we'll be glad to have you join our crew.

My goal for February is 50 miles.  This should really help me get out and train for my half-marathon in March.

Count me in.  I've been a slacker since kicking butt in the December swim challenge and it's time to get back on the horse.

I'm down for 50 miles this month as I prep for my first 1/2 mary in March.

Are you doing the B&A trail half by any chance?

Yeah, that's the one.  I talked with Mike Ricci and we decided that it would be a good opportunity to see where my fitness is going into the ramp up to Columbia.  I'm not approaching it as a "race" but instead as a really long training run.

I'm training through it for Eagleman, but I'm still going to go for it and try to set the time I want. Luckily it happens to fall at the end of an easy week at the beginning of my next 4 week training cycle.

I've talked to a few people that have run it and they said that it is fast. I used to work in Severna Park (my first bike shop job) so have ridden the trail a bunch.

I'm hoping everything clicks that day and my snazzy new Saucony Fastwich really are fast ....

Alright, we have a good solid team with some great goals!

    For the record I have:

    Artemis - 50 miles
    cbost2678 - 50 miles
    chris hughes - 35 miles
    CubeFramGopher - 50 miles
    ejc999 - 75 miles
    ekl26 - 40 miles
    fishinrich - 30 miles
    karris - 40 miles
    PTinVA - 90 miles
    skazi - 90 miles

    and myself - 80 miles

That's a very impressive 630 miles pledged! But nobody's goal looks out of reach. We are going to do very well and show all the other teams how we can put the smack down on them.

All everyone needs to do is tie those shoes and get out there pounding! Let me know via message at the end of each week what you accomplished (all miles/minutes need to be logged in your log also for verification purposes) and then I'll report them to berlinsd weekly so that we are above everyone else.

This first week is short (only five days), so we should project to have 18% of our miles completed to stay on an even course for the end of month.

Good running to everyone and let's be sure to encourage each other to make it!
