Comments: started off a bit fast, lost my friends right away, lots of 10:30 miles early on, got pretty fatigued the last few miles, ended up @ 11:10 for mile 11, but I brought it back down, made a PR by over 9 minutes, this is the hardest I've ever pushed myself in a race What would you do differently?: I was a bit overdressed because I thought it might rain again; which it didn't, could have gotten by with one less layer, went out a bit too fast and paid for it at the end, but I still got a PR so I did something right :) Post race
Warm down: water, bagels and beer :), saw a few more friends and my hubby cross the finish line, lots of my friends had PR's here What limited your ability to perform faster: I'm still slow, but I getting faster and learning how to push through a race, my goal was 2:22 and I came in way under that, very happy with this race Event comments: this is a small, local half, the course is great because it is flat, I thought drink stations every 3 miles were a bit far apart, but I thought they did a good job with this race, we even got medals :) Last updated: 2006-01-30 12:00 AM
