Run
Comments: I felt I did well for the limited training I did. Calves were sore half way through, and breathing needs some work. But no side stitches!!!! What would you do differently?: Build up my stamina and run longer during training. Also keep a longer training time instead of a couple of weeks. Post race
Warm down: Walked a while, just kept moving. Walked to water and fruit stations over the bridge, then walked around the convention center, and another 1.5 miles to parking. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not enough training. Although that time wasn't spent on the couch like in the past. Event comments: Everything went smoothly for me today. I can use this experience to measure future races. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Last updated: 2005-05-03 12:00 AM

Since this was my first race ever, I walked around, stretched, and made sure I was hydrated. Kept it to a small breakfast, wheat toast and peanut butter.
Walked steadily and stretched some warm muscles.
