Thanks for the chart! That is awesome...I'm actually #1516, not #1518. But who ever is going faster you can go ahead and give me the credit.

The Beeline is notorious for causing flats (I think I've had 3-4), however, it's the shoulder that is full of glass and weeds...I'm not nearly as concerned being that we'll be on the newly paved (and hopefully swept) roads. I'm rolling with my Pro 4's with 2 tubes 2 CO2s.  I'm hoping for the best...

I just rode it, on the shoulder of course. The shoulder was in decent condition and I had no issues. The road is in amazing condition so I wouldn't really worry too much come Sunday. I have two spares on my bike and I will put a third in my bike special needs just for insurance. The course is going to be really fast on Sunday as conditions are near perfect.

I really want this jacket for IMAZ: http://ironmanstore.com/events/ironman/ironman-texas/ironman-texas-... like they don't sell it until Monday. Does anyone know if this jacket usually sells out Monday or do they typically have them online for order after? I REALLY don't want to go sit in line Monday morning. Edit: I can't post stuff right from the iPad, not sure if that link will work. It is the black one, $139.95, says FINISHER on the back with the distances under, event embroidery on the front.

I don't have the answer to your question, but I will be in line for some sort of "finisher" memorabilia...My girlfriend is signing up for next year so I promised her I'd wait in line with her to register. I'm taking the day off work so I'm looking forward to laying down the rest of the day.

Watch out for the nut bags protesting on mill. Someone said something about the game. We are going. The nose bleeds are 16. And it's a 1:00 game.

For those of you who've done this before, how early should I get to transition on Sunday? I'll have the family in tow, so don't want to get there TOO early, but don't want to feel rushed, either.

Okay, so in my need to do SOMETHING to keep my poor little pea brain occupied - I've created a list of usernames, actual names (if I could find it as part of your BT profile) and your bib#... if there's are people or information I'm missing feel free to include it... and I'm sorry if I missed you!

Good luck everyone and I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Pretty darn cool. Thanks for doing this.

I am actually 1885, not 1880, Jason Adams if anyone cares to see how it is going for me on Sunday.

Sorry to have missed the Thursday events. I may make the swim tomorrow and meet some of you. If not, good luck to everyone.

Re: The finisher jacket..if you really want the jacket-prepare to stand in line. Last year  I was lucky enough to see the last 2 women's jackets that the staff put out...Some woman nearly assaulted me  to get one..she literally followed me & heckled me & stood behind me as I tried on 2 sizes & would NOT go away until I handed her the one in her size..seriously..!!!!

GOOD LUCK RACERS!! Be warm & fast for the swim , take it all in & enjoy the day that you have earned..!In 48 hrs (give or take!)you will all be IRONMEN!!!

I plan to be at the swim tomorrow. I hope to run into some of you. On a side note, I happen to be the guy Mike Riley was teasing at the athlete dinner tonight. I was surprised as hell when I heard my name called out! Too crazy.
