Santa gave me reasonable access to the credit card for all of December! This turned into a new Tri-suit, a wetsuit, a set of bibs (my first), two sets of Tri-shirts and shorts, clipless pedals and shoes, and two registrations for BRAN-Bike Ride Across Nebraska (what says endurance like 400+ miles in 7 days) in June. Goodness, in looking at the list, I must have been VERY good this past year...or VERY bad for abusing the credit card privileges!

Tacx Bushido so I don't go crazy riding indoors this winter.

Nike element shield tights and Mizuno base layer crew shirt for those really cold winter runs.

Not directly tri, but a Sodastream home soda maker. I love club soda/seltzer as a drink that has no calories or artificial sweetener. (It took me years to realize that it was the bubbles that I liked, not the sugar)

Surper Excited!  He brought me swim lessons!  Now when I go to the pool instead of pretending to swim, I can actually swim.

I'm being tri-Santa to myself as family doesn't really get it. Did get a bunch of Mojo bars and pair of arm warmers (I think I asked for coolers, but I can use them in Oregon this summer!) from Mom. Replacing all the moldy and worn-out basics that have fallen apart over the past six months--swimsuits, shoes, goggles, hydration belt, etc. Did splurge on a new Tri-suit--the 2XU stuff that's supposed to cool you by 5 degrees. It's a one-piece compression-type suit, so hopefully I can stop stressing over tops that never seem to fit without flapping on the swim or riding up during the bike/run. Probably going to buy an IPod or similar--hope to hit the sales tomorrow!
