Comments: Overall race was good. Started out with my 10K pace and figured I would run it out then drop some pace at the end but I kept a good pace thru the entire run. I used my new race number/gel belt and forgot the gels. So no nutrition for the race. I feel I could have used at least one gel; about mile 5 I started feeling worn down and tired. Normal for me, given the effort I was throwing down. The M&Ms were after mile 6 but could hardly choke them down with no water. Normal pre run routine nothing different
slow jogged thru the parking lot for about 10 min before hitting the corrals. They were trying to line us up 20 min early
