We are having a family dinner the night before that I am cooking and all that but what is something cool to do for my wife on her first mothers day. I am not very good at these sorts of things. |

She wears mother and my daughter wears daughter. I do like the idea of the footprint. I could pick up some cement on saturday and do it real quick while she is out grocery shopping with her parents

If you do this, make sure that when she wants to cash in your coupons you don't sigh or gripe or anything absolutely at all. Give her a big smile and act like you're happy about cleaning up that diaper explosion or giving her a massage, even if you don't feel like it. It's supposed to be about her and making her feel good/appreciated, not about you. It does not feel good if you make her feel like she is inconveniencing you. I'm sure you wouldn't do that, but just in case. That is all!  |

Put a few pictures in of the baby and your wife together. You will earn Lifetime Achievement Points for this. I did something like this when ours were two and three years old. Eight years later it still gets talked about. |
