How about non-commuting biking (because you know I get 95% of my bike time in on my commutes)????

Come on Nekkid you just relaxed in NC and were unduely influenced by Robin because she doesn't like the bike

Run and Non-Commute Bike Training (but be warned before you agree - I just became part of B2B IM relay and I received the bike duty )

And I agree completely with the swimming part being left out

I am not hating on biking, I am trying to make the challenge as fair as possible. You, sir, are an animal on the bike. You could run 3 minutes, but bike a million for the month. You bike like most people breathe.

Mrs. Nekkid,

With my commute you are correct - It would be unfair and I realize that.  But since I would withdraw my commutes that would only give me 1 or 2 training rides a week and QueenZipp (Judi) strength trains like an animal (but is much prettier ) so it would all even out in the end.

P.S. - I guess I could really make it a challenge if you firmly decide against all of my non-commuting bike rides and go with Yoga or something I don't ever do - but I am still holding out hope

FWIW, I LOVE the bike... I HATE HATE HATE riding on roads with traffic. I don't see why they can't have a couple of hours where the road is closed to everyone but bicycles.

Fair warning, my numbers are going to be down for the first couple weeks but I am coming at you all like a beast in the last 2 weeks or so. AAAAANNNNNNDDDDD, I am not above an all night run on the 30th to take this crown. So, in short, you will never be safe.

Well I'm in for Run with Strength / P90X  (not going to come close to winning but hope to get in some time and training)

That skirt would have to be OUT,  I am not doing Tri's this year nor doing 100 mile weeks so I haven't been shaving the legs Surprised

Besides mtn biking is fun and what I  want to do,  the other idea is hiking - I am still going to try and do the half mary and we are camping out at over 10,000 ft with a number of mtn lakes nearby.

Please count me in for this challenge! I just finished the TdF as my first ever challenge and my bike legs need a rest. A run challenge seems like perfect timing, so thanks, Ann! I'll combine that with strength training. My daughter is doing body weight circuit workouts as part of her high school cross country program so I'll start doing that with her.
