Good morning.  The day I've dreaded all summer is upon me...back to work.  I know, cry you a river after having 12 weeks off!  Cry

4:15am:  50 minute run

5:15am:  Insanity Max Plyometrics

Felt really fatigued today through everything.  I think I need to eat something as soon as I get up, or eat more during the day.  My diet has been excellent all week, but I don't think I've eaten enough to support my workouts.  I'll start to tinker around with it!

Have a fabulous day, all!

PS...not really dreading going back to work...I welcome a schedule again and I do kind of miss the little 8th grade hooligans!

Hey, you're up first!

4,050 yds in the pool. Feeling better after taking yesterday off from swimming. That monster week really did something to me. Kind of a weird feeling with all the support muscles being very well recovered, but some spots in the lats sure still feel it. Fine, fine, fine, OWWW!

An hour or so of easy running after work. Running speed has been picking up again now that distance is getting back to where it should be!

 Morning BT

Club Splash & dash for me tonight after work, If all goes well with this swim tonight, I am thinking of signing up for my first Sprint Race so I can at least get one in before the season ends. I had originaly been hoping to be ready to race by mid  to late june so I could do a few this year but it was quite obvious at that Time that the swim just wasn't there yet, 5 days a week in the pool since then have done wonders .. Having finished the Clubs last 3 weeks 800M OWS swims in around 18 Min I think I am at least ready to give it a shot and am pretty confident  that I won't end up floundering around belly up or looking for a kayak to hang on too although I will still probably be one of the last one's out of the water.

Have a great day all

I spent an hour on the bike with a 3 mile brick.

According to my Garmin, I climbed 4,300 ft on the run, which is fairly impressive for a run that never gets more than 20 ft above sea level.

Normal rainy season workout plan for here in FL:  Swim if it doesn't rain; gym if it does...

65 min run. Still have to keep it easy, but slowly getting faster. Legs felt dead today.

One of those days. Got home from work around 5:45, zero energy and just really hungry. Told one of my tri friends who is planning our training this weekend and she started texting me: SW!M, B!KE, RUN!!! until I said OK, OK, I'm going

I was able to get a little over an hour on the bike, mostly hills, before it got dark. I am so glad I did something, even if I had to be shamed into it.

Brick workout tonight, 12.6 mile bike ride followed by a 2.1 mile run. Time would have been faster but found out at the end of my bike ride that I was going so slow because my rear brake was rubbing the whole time and I didnt notice!
