Just got a new Pearl Izumi one piece.  Been training in it for a couple of weeks (yes, I clean it often) and will try it out in an Olympic on Sunday.

Love how it feels.

The one from the BT store of course :P

I also like the DeSoto's. Very well designed.

I got a Orca 1 piece before my olympic a few weeks ago on sale and was extremly happy with it. Only gripe would be no leg grippers like my TYR tri shorts have.

any clyde's suggest a one piece? Looking for a suit but for now wear separates. I'm 6'4" 240 so it's tough to find one that fits. Most are tight in the shoulders

I like 2 piece.

for one, I take a small bottom and medium top, can't do that with a one piece.

it's easier to deal w hitting the bathroom at a race.

also you can mix n match if needed, say you get a hole or stain ...or have multiple tops and 1 bottom, etc.

I'm 6'2", 210, 34" waist, 44" chest... I just bought an Orca Core Basic one piece, size XL, that fits well all around.
At your height/weight, you'd probably want to try a XXL.

For the record... the Large would have worked for me, but for the chest measurement.... so, YMMV.

Desoto Forza trisuit (great all around suit).

Two piece suits are more popular for longer distances (easier to do pit stops, and change tops [if needed] for the run).  They are less hydrodynamic than onsies, so best suited to swims where you can put a wetsuit over them.

I do most of my Olys in Froza shorts (no pockets) and an Under Armour HeatGear compression sleeveless top.  It's the most comfortable, coolest setup I've found.
