Yes. The agreement can't be ratified until Friday but reportedly Goodell has lifted the lockout to allow the real officials to work tonight.

You all realize that tonight might be the very first and only time refs get cheered as they take the field!

Until they make a terrible call which, based on historical experience will be in the first half.  I can't wait until people realize just how many mistakes the "experienced" referees make.

Why do I get the feeling the Packers played the role of Sonny, who took the bullet necessary to bring peace to the Five Families?

No one ever said they didn't make mistakes. If you would like I can detail the numerous times the Seahawks got screwed out of the super bowl (You're welcome Pitt). They do however know where to place the ball, know what can and can't be reviewed, etc.

Pretty sure Steeler nation will tell you the regular refs were no better at coin tosses.

since you live several states away, I will take the risk of saying the Packers are Fredo if anything.

(ducking and going into witness protection now)

What happened to last week when the experts were saying once an agreement is reached it will take about 2 weeks to get the regular refs back?

Oh right, MONDAY happened and the play that the NFL "agreed" with.

That's what I was referring to (that the regular refs made really bad mistakes, also.)

People are acting like the regular refs were great. They were (are) probably a lot better than they were given credit for, but it seemend like every Monday people were complaing about them.
