Subject: RE: Stomach limiting running speed This may or may not help you, but I find when I run over about an hour - shorter times, I don't have issues. Longer training, especially on the run that I have to add some electrolyte stuff to water in order not to get nauseous. I came to this solution after trying a few different things. If you're running under an hour at a time, then I agree with the effort comments. If you're running over an hour at a time, this is what worked for me.
First, I stay hydrated - I try to drink when I feel thirsty, whether a couple of swallows or more, depending on how I feel.
Second, I use water mixed with one to two scoops of Endurolyte Powder by Hammer.
I sweat a lot when I run, and it's by far the hardest sport for me. Before I started doing this - my stomach would hurt, and after the run I would be cold and almost have the shakes. Getting the endurolytes back in the bloodstream is what turned the trick for me, so I could go out and run for 2 hours and not feel like death afterwards.
