Subject: Flopping can lead to fines and suspensions!

The NBA announced that this season they will be reviewing flops and issuing fines starting at $5k upwards to $30K and then possibly suspension!

I can't wait to see how this plays out. Chris Paul, Manu and D Wade had better watch out this season!

I wish this had been in place for all of Manu's career. I'm curious to see how it might have played out differently.

I heard it will be called the "We are not soccer" rule.

I also read that the Players Association is not thrilled about this rule!

My son and I were watching the ESPN snip-it on this morning.  Man there was some serious flopping being shown, good riddance.

Great. Maybe next they can implement a rule where you’re not allowed to take more than one step with the ball without dribbling it. They could call it “travelling” or something.

(What? They do? Are you sure? I only ask because I don’t think I’ve ever seen it called.)

As a fellow soccer fan, I do thing that if they start giving post-match suspensions/yellow cards for flopping and over-acting, this will stop. It will require  system in place for review of matches, but well worth it if you ask me.

I second that motion and move to vote.  All in favor say "aye".

They should have enforcers, and the enforcers can beat the crap out of the floppers.  They should also use sticks and a puck and play on a sheet of ice...

I would personally vote that they start actually calling fouls on the lakers.

I'm still bitter about Game 6.

It would cost nothing to go to a game then, the players would be covering all of the costs
