Anyone doing the CN Tower Climb this year? This is my first time & I've been training at the Wentworth Stairs in Hamilton. Has anyone here done it before? It sounds like a blast.

Have fun - i did it a number of years ago now - before I became a runner and triathlete and it was tough!! But it is a super cool thing to do.  Good thing you're doing some training.

My main advice is to really pay attentio to your steps and to hold on the closer you get to the top. The stairs are metal grate and get slippery with a whole whack of sweaty people climbing.  And otherwise, have fun!

Is this something that requires a lot of training or could anyone off the street manage it?

It's a fundraising event, but challenging nonetheless. 1776 stairs.
