Subject: HIM within a drive

Was wondering if anyone knows of any HIM distance races within a few hour drive of MN?

I am aware of the Liberty, Chisago, and Superior Man, here in MN.  Any other ones that anyone has done?

i personally like Sqaure lake "long course"  the bike is almost 2 miles short, but i consider it close enough especially as hilly as the bike course is.   I like it because it is a much smaller race, as far as participants go, and the short course is the day before so you are not crossing paths with them like you do at other races.

 

plus it is toward the end of the season so its something to build up to

Door County half iron is about a 5.5 drive and well worth it. I loved the race, no real downsides.

REV3 Wisconsin Dells was a great race for first year.. they are back next year!   A bit more hilly than most that you mentioned on the bike and run!
