You know? I dunno. As a single chick in this world, it's hard for me to go home and cook a decent nutritious meal. Living in a studio, my fridge isn't really that big and my stove/oven is practically non-existant. Usually I'll go out or pick up something quick. I feel that all fast food isn't that destructive in closely guarded doses and also depending on what you have. Like for instance. I NEVER eat the fries, or drink the soda. Maybe a couple sips of soda or diet sometimes as opposed to the usual water or some other low cal/low sugar drink. Also, I try to order better burgers or sandwiches rather than the nasty stuff. I had an Angus Steak burger from burger king this past weekend. It tasted like real meat and I didn't feel too bad about it.

McDonalds Value Meal #3 after something stressful (like a doctor's visit or a LONG day at work). I, too, have seen Super Size Me... I don't like meat, and I know their meat is worse than dog food, but for some reason it tastes so good when I'm stressed out!

Lucky? Once a month is just enough to tell you that all the marketing is hype and the food is dog crap.

Pizza - there is a great pizza place nearby that has a wonderful greek pizza...

I also love the breadsticks at any place that serves them.  Pizza hut is great.

I am with most everyone else, a big sloppy hamburger is great once in a while.  OR....how about one of those big hot dogs that they have at the ball park???

The only food I've ever gotten sick on was in the U.S. It was a chicken sandwich...from a restaurant... I had food poisoning for what seemed like FOREVER, and I was sure that death would have been a more favorable choice.

When I did some missionary work in Guatemala last summer, we had wonderful food at the orphanage we were working for. (Guacamole from freshly picked avacados and limes was by far my favorite!) Even when we went to work in the highlands near Atitlán, the food was fine. (Not the water...just the food.)

However, my boyfriend spent 3 months doing missionary work in Bolivia and Guatemala, and he got sick 3 times during that trip -- twice in Guatemala, once in Bolivia. The food in Guatemala was from a street vendor (they wash their veggies with local water), and the food in Bolivia was cooked by Americans. YIKES!

Best Street Meat Ever - Sushi from a vendor at a street fair in NYC after a hard night of drinking at a wedding. After that it was fried oreo's! That was before I started training, now I just splurge on Ice Cream every now and then.
