My sister loaned me the first book a while ago and I haven't read it yet.  Worth it to do so? I went through a bit of the teen lit last year with Hunger Games and the year before that with Twilight so i needed a break.  I've been thinking about picking it up ... just haven't yet.

It was good. Very Hunger Games-esq... not much like Twilight.

I liked them, but kept thinking that the way students testing is anymore that we're not too many steps away from this fiction being a reality.

Read them both. I liked Divergent more, but really enjoyed both books. Looking forward to the third.

There is a short kindle called 'Four' that is one scene from the first book from Four's perspective.

 

 

Edit- the Kindle book is 'Free Four - Tobias Tells The Divergent Story'

Its been a year or so since I have read any of the books.
