Using Google Chrome
Version 26.0.1410.64 m

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp...

RUN
25m 26s
3.11 miles
07m 20s min/mile

The autocalc is way off -- the pace should be around 8:11, not 7:20

I had the same issue in my log using Google Chrome.

Time = 26:04
distance = 3.13
Autopace = 7:12
Actual pace = 8:19

When I re-calculated using Firefox it was correct, but it took 4 tries to save.

We just fixed this.  I confirmed by editing another member race report with the bad pace.

TO APPLY THE FIX: All you have to do is 'edit' it and 'recalculate the pace' and save.

Let me know if any problems.  I apologize for this bug.  This page was purely a 're-skinning' job, I didn't go back to check it myself and I assumed it would work fine.

Should I have time goals for the first sprint? Should I just finish the race at a reasonable pace? I'm not sure how to approach this.

Focus on doing the drills and improving each week. Eventually you will go out for a run, look down, and see that your pace has improved, your heart rate is lower, and your cadence is over 90 rpm.

The misconception of LSD is that it’s easy. What I have learned over the years is that LSD or "running slow" is relative to each person.

If you are like many runners you may be frustrated at racing 5K distances and never being able to run them faster. Improve your race pace with this flexible 12 week program.

Good swimming is relaxed swimming. Relaxed swimming depends on practicing the best techniques and the best body position.
