Considering upgrading to smartphone. I don't want to pay $100/month at one of the big cell services

Any thoughts/advice on Smart Talk?

Phone which would you get either Samsung GSIII vs Galaxy Proclaim? $300 cheaper for Proclaim

We had considered getting Virgin Mobile but read horrible reviews on line.

I'm open to other suggestions.

If it's a possibility, I would recommend an iPhone.

I am NOT a big Apple fan, and I wanted to go with Android and did for several years.

BUT, you really can't beat the ease of use and number of good apps.  If you're looking for a really good functioning smart phone, it's a great thing.

I don't know.  The wife has an Iphone and I have a Droid OS (HTC phone).

For the longest time I HATED trying to use her phone.  Nothing seemed intuitive at all.  I seriously wanted to smash it.  Just getting back to the previous screen seemed hard.  Kept hitting the square and it would shut down the whole app.

I had the same frustration with the Ipad, but after a month of learning, I like it.  Now I can pick up the wife's Iphone and finally use it.  A droid OS, seems to ME, just pick it up and use it.  It seemed intuitive.

I'm considering replacing mine with an Iphone ONLY because I have a few Ipad apps I would like to access through the phone and they are only apple apps not available for droid.  Nice to have them synced.  If not for that, I would probably stick to droid OS.  In fact, I'm 50/50 with an Iphone 5 or Galaxy Note II (a little big, but cool).

I have had no issues with my Virgin Mobile iPhone plan. At $30 a month for 300 talk minutes and unlimited text and data, I see no drawbacks.

I have the GS3, and love the phone itself. Sprint can suck my ballz (or someone's balls, I guess...), tho.
